The Sofia is a Classic European Trawler Style Yacht, designed by Bruce Roberts in 2021 for PT. Taka Geodrill Indonesia. All the Yacht Hull and Superstructure Material are Grade-A Marine Plate. The Yacht is built in Dok Bahari Nusantara Shipyard in Cirebon Indonesia under Collaboration of PT. Taka Geodrill Indonesia and PT. Dok Bahari Nusantara. The 1st Steel Cutting of the Yacht and Keel Laying are conducted in April 2021.

 

The Yacht will have BKI and RINA Classifications with the Notation X HULL l MACH - PLEASURE YACHT with UNRESTRICTED Navigation. This Class Notation express that the Yacht is Designed and Built with capability to sail around the world including crossing the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. The Yacht is powered by 2 x Cummins QSL9 Diesel Engine with total 808 horsepower. The main electricity source comes from Battery Packs which are charged by Solar Panel, Main Engine Alternator and 2 x Yanmar 9 horsepower Diesel DC Charger.
